I've been thinking about how Naruto characters impact people lives etc e.g people killing themselves because of character deaths. I started thinking about how people view certain characters as role models so i started thinking about sakura. Tbh i feel sorry for any females who have taken her as a role model cause all i seee is someone who's willing to be treated like shit, mentally and physically abused and yetttt still even feels a level of guilt for her 'lovers' actions its like damn kishi whats the message you're presenting with her.

Even if she does end up with sasuke its like she lost her dignity doing that i mean she's confessed her love twice almost been killed by him cried over him but he doesn't give a s**t. The fact you can make your main character, in a series which has KIDS reading as well as teenagers young adults etc, so shitty is incredible. If any females end up being killed by a partner like sasuke because sakura taught them to 'perverse' im holding kishi on manslaughter charges. No joke -_-

Who is viewing Naruto characters as role models in the first place is my question.

Pfft! You aren't reading the manga well. Sasuke is just being portrayed as a male tsundere ^^

Sakura makes little girls think it's okay to be a man's *****. She truly is a disgrace to the female human ***.

Kishi actually based Sakura off of how many real girls act. Many girls go for the good looking guy that treats them like crap and some I've heard about and seen girls who know they usually go for the wrong types of guys while complaining about how all guys are jerks. So this thread doesn't really hold when Sakura is made as a real girl acts and there's girls up to their 30's who stil does that and Sakura is only 17. She can still grow out of that.

I hate it when people claim BS like this. It's disgraceful. That's how many TEENAGE/TWEENAGE girls act who are unbalanced, have latent feelings of insecurity, desperate, and don't seem to be mature enough to evaluate the outcome of the situation and the impact it will have on them as a person. Such is the mindset of a shallow, slow, desperate, insecure individual. But don't sit there and generalize all women simply because of a few giggly over zealous tweenagers who have an unrealistic and shallow thought process. People love to create archetypes in their heads, about this giggly, shallow, teenage girl who acts like sakura, when the truth is most women who behave like sakura are the ones who are in emotionally abusive/physically abusive relationships who carry a sense of guilt, remorse, and shame for the abuser. They can't identify the abusive behavior because they believe that the abuser is this individual who's suffering and in pain and in need of love and assistance which is what keeps them running back. Sakura fits this description to a T and I've explained this before. Really, based onw hat I know about the characters, and the series masashi does a horrible job representing women. There don't seem to be too many strong outspoken women in anime...I suppose one could also assert that there aren't very many realistic portrayals of men in the series either which is a fair assertion. With that being said it's a disservice to both men and women alike to compare them to characters in this series because of the unstable psychological state of most of the characters.
