[Discussion] Sakura: Hyped or Hated

Why is it that it's so black and white? Most people hate Sakura(and I'm unsure why) and the rest are anboys. WHat makes her so different from any other side character (yes, I say side character. I'd only consider Naruto a main character). She is much like any other shinobi from Naruto's class. So why is it that she is always over hyped or hated on with such passion?

I think its because of the wishy washy way Kishi does her character development. What I mean is one moment she is getting an awesome power up then the the next she goes back to being useless.

She'd just be hated for all eternity on nb U_U whether she proves herself useful or she stays back and does nothing...either way she has to encounter immense hate :| pitiful :sy:

It appears black and white because only the people in either camp feel the need to voice their opinion. Everyone else who doesn't give a **** doesn't say ****. There's a large (and vocal) camp of Sakura haters, and this has led to an uprising of a small (but equally vocal) camp of die-hard Sakura fanboys/girls.

I'm an unabashed Sakura hater, but I don't generally advertise it. Why do I hate Sakura? Because I hate Sasuke, and Sakura is the ultimate Sasuke fangirl. Ergo, I hate Sakura. It has nothing to do with her abilities or lack thereof.

I'm actually neutral about her, if she did something good, if she didn't, then well good as well.

She hasnt been doing flashy pewpew things throughout the series.
Characters that lack that are often not liked.
The interesting things about her are more subtle which lot of people dont notice.
Those who do notice like her, those who dont tend to jump the useless train hype of character bash.

Face it Sakura still loves Sasuke and ignores Naruto and that irks people.
