The fact that Sakura get compared to a side character so often shows how much she fails as a main character.

The ignorance, you must be a 10 year old boy. Any real man knows boobs are the most useless part on a womans body other than breast feeding infants. They are for show, and hold no valuable compared to a phat ass, beautiful eyes, nice full soft lips, flat stomach, thin waist, and some nicely thick legs all top the charts in *** appeal over "Boobs"
Anyway, hinata is cute, but that is it, her hair is black-ipurple, her eyes are like a zombie purple, not to mention that ugly, mullet, mushroom head of a hair-style she has with the bang down the front of her forhead. I love hinata's personality, but shes pretty plain, and boring, people in every debate say "Omg her breast are way bigger" so the hell what, no real man gives a damn about breast, they literally do nothing for anybody but look nice....
I personally think sakura is more attractive than hinata, mangafacts has proven she is more useful obviously, I'm not even going to post the billion scans of her saving naruto's life, constantly restoring his chakra the entire war, healing shinobi alliance, even cut open his chest, grabbed his heart, damn there brought him back to life. Let's not forget made "the" and I repeat "the" most important blow in the whole anime cracking Kaguya horn on her head, and sending her flying down into naruto and sasuke seal.
Remind me what hinata has done this entire manga again please? apart from from stupidly jumping in front of pein because of her "Lust" for naruto, and killing a few white zetsu's? yeah, okay.

Which was a plot hole. Read:
Kishi does this again with Kaguya's defeat which has many plot holes, but I'll just talk about the Sakura one which everyone also calls BS on. Sakura is able to punch Kaguya's horn off and damage her face, making her left cheek swell up...First off this woman tanked nine tailed beast Rasenshuriken without much damage and took a punch from Six Paths Naruto in the face in chapter 682 with only a little bruise. Not to mention Kaguya was using yin/yang release at the time so her ninjutsu negation ability (which affects both her truth seeking ball and body as shown by Obito) should have been active. Sakura's "SUPER strength" is actually nin-taijutsu where she releases chakra from her fist on contact just like Body Flicker does with the feet which is ninjutsu. So Sakura's punch should have been useless.
The fact that Kishi needs to defy logic to make her useful in battle makes her look pathetic rather than badass.
She helped Ino save Naruto from being killed by Obito/Juubi. But to compare Sakura to a side character means she fails as a main character.
Hinata has a more fleshed out background, a better role model, better development for her status(while Sakura's development fails to meet the standards of a main character) and actually has a story arc focused on her unlike Sakura.

Sakura abilities can be replace,anybody can sucker punch someone and their plenty of medics with larger chakra reserves than limited Sakura who has trouble following trued on doing the right thing.

First of all, this kind of topic is..... well it's BS.
This will be my only post in that kind of cr***y topic.
Strengh of "Character":
Sakura is oftenly shown has a coward who always goes the easy way when it gets hard because she can't handle the hard way.
Ex: Sasuke turned evil ? I won't try to understaind, why he became like this, I'll try to kill him, it should be easier. ( Even that she failed, too bad the scene was good when she got behind him ).
She had determination in the early part 2 but it has been shaken. But when it's not about sasuke, she is a very capable shinobi, otherwise, she lacks clarity and self control about her emotions.
Hinata never went the easy way. She loved the main character when he was an outcast, she tried to help him when everybody spat on him.Well since she is overly shy, it's hard to develop her, but when it's needed she have more guts than sakura when it's about the one she loves ( she saved naruto of his own despair in the war arc ) She showed more moral strengh than half the army reunited.
When it comes to their objectives, hinata took what it takes everytimes. Sakura wavered multiple time because she lacked guts at some point of the story and trust in naruto. She let too much time naruto handle it, nearly alone, and when she tries she made the wrong decisions ( it's not all negative, it was a hard choice)
Combat:
It's pure idiocy to compare them since they have to different role: One is a medic, the other a cqc.
One is trained to stay alive and provide heals, the other to kick ass. Saying, in combat she will... is a total BS
Difficulty of their "fight"
Sakura, i'd say. Sasuke was a spoiled brat thinking he was almighty, when he grown up, he was just a spoiled teen thinking he was almighty ( sorry but sasuke was during all part 2 was an easily influencable kid who couldn't think by himself until the war) Even though he thinked of her not so badly at the end of part 1, he was too focused in his revenge.
When Hinata never wavered because she knew who naruto was, sakura until mid part 2, she never really known sasuke. She made some investigation on the 3 years hold, but that's nearly all. So keeping her feelings for him, nourish it through the years, even whenshe wavered, naruto slaped her (moraly) in the face and then stood up again.
So who wins ? Nobody, they are totally different characters. One is a dedicated chunin, who loves a wanted enemy becoming a medic ( maybe to heal him later of his hate and revenge) and then got his loved one back ( not by herself but she helped in small parts), the other became a chunin, trying to be strong enough to be recognised by his family and the one she loves. She got it, but it took a longer time.
(Sry for the grammar and that post not completly developed, i'm not an english native, and moreover, that kind of topic don't deserve more text)

Uh, yes you can. Sakura's abilities were taught to her.
Hyugas in general have chakra control better than part 1 Sakura. Just have Tsunade train Hinata or Neji and they could easily replace Sakura. Hell, they would be better than her.

-I can give a damn about plot holes, defying logic, or what kishi chooses to do with "his manga" you can cry about it being unfair, plothole, b/s, shouldn't of happened all you want. Connect the A's to the B's which equals C, so D cant be possible, is irrelevant, it happened. People cry about a billion and one so called "Plot-No-Jutsu" that has happened in the manga, it happened, get over it, move on.
-She did it, which is a manga fact, your personal feelings on the matter and trying to justify every other crying ass naruto fan who watches the anime, and hates on sakura so it's okay, doesn't mean anything my friend, it happened, get over it. She did something obviously a empowered, rikudo mode naruto, with borrowed power from every tailed beast, and hagoromo could not, and she did it with her "own" physical strength that she trained, and acquired from tsunade.
-I understand peoples feelings, how is it possible? it defies logic, how can this annoying, pink haired, so called "useless" female that everyone seems to hate, do with her own strength, what the main character in the story with every borrowed power in Naruto existence could not? Plot hole? yeah, bullshit? maybe, did it happen? guess what? it sure did lol, eat that shit up and swallow it, "Sakura did that shit" and not you, or anybody can change it.
-Covering your other mediocre points of hinata's usefulness, you stated one other? in bold; She helped Ino save Naruto from being killed by Obito/Juubi. But to compare Sakura to a side character means she fails as a main character. Okay? lol, so did everybody else that participated in the fight against obito/juubi. "Everybody" played a roll in protecting, and fighting along side naruto.
-I can name 20 incidents of sakura usefulness which people are blind to see because of their ridiculous hatred for her as a character, i'm pretty sure hinata might have 3 tops? as she was hardly shown accomplishing anything throughout the entire manga, why? because she is a side character.
-People tend to compare sakura to hinata for multiple reasons; 1. being the simple fact that she was second choice for naruto because he was blindly in love with Sakura. 2. being the fact people personally felt that hinata was suited better for naruto, and they hated the fact he loved sakura so much. So much NB desperately tries to nick pick at every reason why they personally feel hinata is superior to sakura out of their hatred for her.
-Fact of the matter is, sakura usefulness runs 100x deeper then hinata spending 700 chapters stalking, lusting, and trying to self-motivate herself to become strong to stand next to naruto. Kinda ironic right? isn't that the same thing naruto did to catch up to sasuke? Lol But manga fact still stands that through all of this, she managed to 1. Temporally stall pein from capturing naruto and at the same time almost getting herself killed. 2. Sending naruto on a nine tails rampage that would of caused more causalities to comrades of the hidden leaf. 3. And lastly, like you stated "She helped ino save naruto from being killed vs obito/Juubi" which everybody played apart in.
-Though sakura was useless in part 1, she still had a few heroic efforts, whether it was motivation for sasuke and naruto to both become strong to protect her, saving them when they where passed out from the sound ninja, and a few other scenes. Shippuden her usefulness ran deep, as she had proven time again of the intel she has collected about the akatsuki over the years which was valuable information to the new formed team 7. Her being the only one capable of coming up with a antidote for sasori poison, saving kankuro life, and allowing herself and granny chiyo to defeat sasori because she made such antidote and gathering valuable information on orochimaru, kabuto, and there whereabouts.
-I can go on and on, healing naruto after he went on a rampage on the bridge against orochimaru, motivating him, bringing him ninja pills so he can continue his reckless training of FRS without any rest, provided ridiculous medical support to everyone she could while pein attacked the hidden leaf, not to mention the times in between that, and then the assistance she provided through out the entire ninja war.
-Sakura is leagues above hinata in terms of usefulness, period.

Doesn't matter if it happened but how it happen. It wasn't because of Sakura's skill but because of sloppy writing. There is nothing to admire about it. It's pathetic.
The only time she was ever legitimately useful in battlewise was in the Sasori fight.
A main character better be more useful than a side character.
That's like comparing Wonder Woman to Lois Lane because they both dated Superman. And Sakura fans often compare her to Hinata to make her look good because she is full of fail.
That doesn't really matter Sakura is a far worst characters and person than Hinata.
