I'm not even some big Sakura fan but every time Sakura is brought up, someone says something stupid.

At this point in the war, she's clearly been an asset and has proved her worth multiple times over. She has:
- kept Naruto alive
- saved moved of the damn army
- fought on the front lines
- protected multiple people when necessary

Now all the haters seem to point to "She couldn't destroy Obito's eye!"

Are you kidding me? Who the hell would stab somebody in the eye without pausing and giving that a second thought? I don't care what the situation is,even as far as this fictional world goes, eyes are things that you only get two of. And Rinnegan eyes are pretty f'in rare.

Just recognize how ridiculous it sounds when you say that the weakness of a character is that she didn't stab her ally's eye within seconds of him asking. She doesn't have any power ups and yet is equal to a Kage at a very young age. Besides Naruto and Sasuke, the only person her age who can touch her is Gaara. You're either sexist, blind, or stupid if you can't see the obvious.

So then Naruto's emotions? He was just as ridiculous with Sasuke as she was. And even risked his life fighting him the VoTE. Oh I wasn't disputing that but I'm just saying she was in harms way intentionally. She planned for Naruto to either grab her or attack. So it wasn't like she was lucky to have been saved or surprised.

I think the people that are criticizing Sakura, are just giving little thought to the her overall character and actions, and this is a huge manga, so in a way it's understandable that people can misinterpret what is basically the normal human response of cowering away a bit from harming another person- when they ask for help with it it's different to the responses they are taught at school. (although the world they live in so different to ours, the very idea of children being taught assassination techniques at a school is very scary to me )
Also like others have said, sometimes Sakura goes a little reckless with the hitting Naruto, it's just for a bit of much needed humor really! She is also slower to show affection than perhaps Hinata, and the worst crime of all to some, she changed her mind about Sasuke!

This statement has rendered your entire argument invalid... Eyes can be regenerated and transplanted. Case in point Kakashi...Naruto gave him his eye back. Many people have had more than 2 eyes. Stabbing someones eye to save the world should have been easy. Because yes all the killing she did earlier and all of a sudden she can't stab an eye?
