Firs of all Karin is not the main female , don't try do compare her with Sakura or try to make sakura look better in comparison , cause she is not, is not Karins problem to be relevant to the story so your argument there is invalid .

Without Sakura the manga would've ended long ago. How many times have she healed Naruto, She save the ninja alliance. And she kill's a number of Juubi clones. She was meant to be the underdog, she didn't have power handed to her on a silver platter like the rest of the K12 excluding Lee. She is a prime example of a Shinobi.
