It's not that Sasuke treats Sakura like shit that isn't what makes her character look so sad, it's that he doesn't even acknowledge her. Naruto treats Hinata with respect and at least acknowledges her presence even if he doesn't even notice that she likes him.

Plus Hinata is a legit admirer of Naruto. She has reasons to admire Naruto. Sakura reasons for even caring about Sasuke haven't been clarified at the least, which they should have especially after all he's said and done to her. Okay she loves him no matter what but the question is why is that? She had a crush on him as a little kid and he ditched her and Naruto to go train with Orochimaru tried to kill them both twice in part two and threatened to kill everyone in the leaf. Her and Sasuke never had much of a relationship even in part one he didn't have much interaction with her so why does she love him?

Any logical girl would have moved on from Sasuke a long time ago. This chick doesn't seem to get the message even faced with death so I guess she actually has to die for it to sync in.

Do you have a daughter? If so, or if you ever have one, then give her the advice which comes from your own logic:

1. When she takes an interest in romance, tell her to always go for the guys who physically abuse her and try to kill her.

2. Tell her to brush off the guys who make her feel strong and encourage her. They can go jump in a lake!

3. Tell her to be persistent in chasing this abusive guy even if he sends her a note on a dagger saying "I have no interest in you and I want to kill you".

4 Last and most important: Make sure that her reasons for liking the guy are looks alone! If she has friendship with a guy, slap some sense into her! It is all about looks. Looooooooooooooooks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

If she follows these steps, she can be the perfect Sakura image! That is sooooooooo great, right?
