So I feel as if Sakura's medical ninjutsu is underrated slightly on this base, so im just going to highlight and explain Sakura's undeniably elite medical ninjutsu skills.

Evident from the start Sakura was noted for her natural apptitude for chakra control with hers surpassing her peers and her knowledge and booksmarts being comparable to that of a chunin level ninja.

So skip to Part II, Sakura becomes one of Tsunade's most skilled apprentices and inherits her monstrous strength through rigorous training and 3 years worth of knowledge, the first time we see her medical ninjutsu in a glorious light is when she saved Kankuro from Sasori's poison,

Now in the Sasori battle which is one of Sakura's finest moments in the series we can see that her medical skills even come to use in battle as well, as seen when she constantly heals Chiyo's wounds while destroying Sasori's puppets, deflecting his iron sand and evading his assaults.

Towards the end of the battle Sakura despite having a sword lodged in her abdomenm her reserves taxed

showing that her medical ninjutsu skills in the field of heated battle are still proven succesful.


As seen constantly throughout Shippuden, Sakura's medical ninjutsu is proven to be the saving grace in the field, In the Tenchi bridge arc she is shown to have recovered a kyuubi meltdown Naruto with little struggle

At the very least, she's on par with Tsunade, which automatically would be the best medical nin arround. Doesn't matter the training or whatever she had to go through, fact is, as far as healing goes, she's the best.

Really sucks that Sakura ended up with a team mate like Naruto. Naruto became too much of a gary stu with him healing the alliance and Kakashi's eye, which led to her medic skills being , well, useless.

It was a smart idea though because Naruto’s reckless behaviour lead him into situations where he can’t heal himself because he’s in a critical condition so Sakura being the more level-headed one can recover him, “The Last” and the VOTE

She needed more medical feats like in the beginning of Part 2. She could have been given Kakuzu's or Pain's bodies to do autopsy on instead it was given to Tsunade/Shizune.

But this happen with everyone. Gai gets feats, Lee doesn't. Hiashi gets feats, Neji doesn't. lol :drip:

That's the problem with medic nins: they are support, not combat ninjas. Their unrefined taijutsu style, as in rush in and try to bash someone's skull, will lose everytime against someone that actually has trained in taijutsu, be either a Hyuuga, Strong Fist or even more a Senjutsu master. I don't really get why they are regarded "strong" in combat.

That has a limit, and against Gentle Fist is useless. Thing is, neither of them is going to win by constantly healing themselves (if they don't die first of course) and throwing punches to the air, or breaking the ground, or whatever.
