Sakura hasn't used this jutsu at all in the manga but she most likely can use it.

I mean she stored her chakra into a specific point for 3 years so turning it into electricity shouldn't be that hard for her to do.

What Does Tsunade have over Sakura?

Lineage: Tsunade being Senju/Uzumaki has strong life force, raw physical energy and large chakra reserves.
All of those things are contributing factors to but not the deciding. In simpler terms, if clan affiliation determines how strong a shinobi can become then why isn't Tsunade top 10?

Experience: Tsunade has practiced medicine for years and Sakura has only been in medicine for 3 years. Think of it this way, it takes actual doctors years just to get into med school (6 years+) and Tsunade has been a healing for eons and Sakura is approaching her 4th year.

In Conclusion, there's nothing else for Tsunade to teach Sakura.

These are contradicting statements. You say it is a fact Sakura knows every jutsu Tsunade does. Then you blatantly provide evidence of a jutsu Tsunade has that Sakura hasn't shown to know. Until Sakura shoes she knows it,.we.cannot just assume she can. That's like assuming Naruto knows every jutsu Jiraiya had. It is flawed reasoning.

The time Tsunade makes the quote it is a true statement. Until then, Sakura had not mastered the jutsu. So the use of this statement to serve as a base for claiming her Potential is greater than Tsunade doesn't really hold fast.

Regarding this statement on its own, are you assuming that Tsunade's currently in her prime? If so, I would disagree. Her prime would have ultimately been the initial years that she developed and used the Byaougou. At such a time, like Sakura, she would not have needed to divert chakra to her youthful appearance. Thus, her physical strength then would actually topple what Sakura displayed as we know Tsunade is naturally stronger physically, and with the extra chakra being used to increase her punch, logic dictates it'd be a greater blast. We can also presume that the technicque was developed at an older age than current Sakura, and thus her experience would still trump Sakura at such a time.


However if we contemplate the concept in mere simplicity, potential is ALWAYS greater than prime. Simply being because theoretically, potential is the dream of the greatest possible achievement. For example, every Uchiha had the POTENTIAL to awaken the Rinnegan provided they go through the steps and have a Senju to mooch of off.

As for your lineage statement... Quite simply for two reasons is she not top 10.

1. Fighting style. She chose her medical jutsu style. She has LITERALLY no ranged attacks. She's stuck with hand to hand moves. Her versatility is horrible, and thus, compared to the top 10 who have range... Or at least the speed (Minato) to counter lack of range, they can cover more ground and be overall more destructive when doing so.

2. She's a woman. Sounds sexist, but let us face it: Kishi sucks at doing women a favor. The only woman of even respectable power (top tier wise) is Kaguya. And she only got her power because she ate a fruit and basically got a free power up. It isn't even her own natural talent. Even then we haven't seen her doing jack.


In the end...Tsunade has the following over Sakura.

1. Medical experience.

2. Combat Experience

3. Chakra Level

4. Physical Strength

Sakura may have more potential; however, she'll never surpass Tsunade until she exceeds Tsunade's age and thus experience. Why?

Because they use the SAME things. However, Tsunade has more than what Sakura has shown, and has used it better or with more ease (experience).


If Sakura could actually develop the Genjutsu she seemingly was set to learn during part I (nicely forming a Genjutsu Sakura, Niniutsu Sasuke, and Taijutsu Naruto), she'd definitely have the chance to surpass Tsunade. Because like Sasuke and Naruto, she'd be developing her own unique moves and techniques that deviate from their masters.




So long as Sakura only uses the moves Tsunade has taught her, she'll never surpass Tsunade.

Sakura is very powerful. But IMO, each Of Tsunade's main attributes is superior...at the moment.

Strength: Tsunade uses raw natural strength. Sakura has to use Chakra. Therefore, Sakura will run out of chakra and lose her main offense. But the overall impact is the same.

Stamina: Tsunade is a Senju/Uzumaki. She's way higher.

Ninjutsu: they're so close in medical power that it's even. In fact, their overall ninjutsu skills are close.

Taijutsu: Sakura just hasn't shown the feats in the manga to put her Taijutsu at a 5/5 like Tsunade. She's more like a 3.5/5.

Genjutsu: Neither shown abilities in this regard, but Sakura is supposedly a genjutsu type so she will surpass Tsunade because of this.

Intelligence: Tsunade blows her away with overall intelligence, experience, and wisdom. Sakura will catch up though.

Speed: Tsunade is probably faster

Hand seals: On par

I'd say Tsunade is overall better in Taijutsu, Intelligence, Speed, and Stamina. While she's on par in Hand seals, genjutsu, strength, and Ninjutsu. But eventually, Sakura will be on par or stronger then all of Tsunade's attributes, minus stamina possibly.
