Sakura was said to be a natural genjustu user by Kakashi but she rarely used it. In part one she managed to not get in a genjustu.

But in part 2 she was in Sasuke genjustu.

Before she got stuck in his genjustu she was saying she loved him. Maybe he got her off guard in the genjustu because she wasn't prepare for what was going to happen next because of her love for Sasuke. In a way her love for Sasuke would be a weakness against her genjustu abilities.
In Naruto: The Last Sakura release Naruto from the genjustu...Many her genjustu got stronger? But also didn't Kishi say Toneri was as strong as Madara (did he say that?)and if so that means Sakura is a good genjustu user because she was able to release his genjustu. It would have been better if Kishi showed more of her using the genjustu but eh.

They set her up to display genjutsu abilities for her time skip, but Kishi never pursued it. A medical ninja w/ genjutsu would have completely changed up the game.

Also no amount of preparation on this green Earth would have protected her from Sasuke's gen. That was pretty much a done deal.

She doesn't have affinity for Genjutsu, all she can do is use her chakra control thingy or whatever and release the genjutsu. She can't cast it. Also when did kishi say that toneri was as strong as Madara? I'm i missing something?

I think I'm not sure if Kishi said that.

Her genjutsu affinity stems from her chakra control and as we've seen throughout the manga , her chakra control is NASTY PRECISE but her ultimate down fall is her emotional connection to Sasuke. He wasn't involved in the fight or in the pursuit against Toneri to which is why she preformed adequately and was able to prevail against a strong genjutsu.

Sasukes Finesse = Sakura's Weakness

Sakura is a genjutsu type. In the last she saved everyone from genjutsu. But you have to understand that Uchiha genjutsu is a whole different level. And then there's Sasuke's. The quote pretty much says it all.

Let's make a few things clear:

1) Sakura's resistance to genjutsu comes from her perfect chakra control. Since the mechanics of genjutsu involve distrupting the chakra flow of the opponent by entering your own chakra, this will obviously be harder to do on someone with a firm grasp of their chakra.

2) The above does not in any way mean she is immune to genjutsu, or even resistant to high-level genjutsu of a certain type. The most probable scenario is that she's able to fend off moderate genjutsu that has a direct effect on her phyisical/mental condition, and will not get fooled by even high-level genjutsu that does not involve said effects. This would mean that she will, for example, see through a genjutsu with relative ease, but will still fall prey to the effects of MS Sasuke's paralysis genjutsu or Frog Song. The Rinnegan Genjutsu will knock her out cold regardless of her ''weakness to Sasuke''.

3) The Last is semi-filler. We don't even know if that scene was part of Kishimoto's contribution to the script

Basically this, If Sakura broke out if genjutsu without breaking a sweat then that power-up would have been ridiculed.

There's no way Sakura would tank EMS,and Rinnegan genjutsu.

Says the fact that Kishimoto only wrote part of the script, the rest was up to Studio Pierrot. Not written by him =/= not canon.

I know his said that but it's suppose to link to the manga and whatnot. So I'm calling it canon.

Kishi was very much involved. In an interview, he said they tried to make it 100% cannon. Which was hard considering they started production way before the manga ended.

You can call it whatever you want. He also said that to watch The Last you don't need to have first read the manga, so I guess this would mean the manga is filler, by your logic?

Anyway, fact remains that Sakura is resistant to genjutsu of a certain type, but that's the extent of it.

Kishimoto never stated that. He said that it follows the events of 699, which doesn't make it fully canon, since even the non-canon novels have a timeline that fits the canon story as well.
