[Discussion] Sakura didn't really get a power up and she's not on par with Naruto and Sasuke

Look, I know what you are thinking. But this is not a Sakura hate thread. There are so many Sakura haters here so it is easy to mistake this as a hate thread but... it's not.

Okay, so, in the latest chapter, Sakura did this mega-punch thing and people were saying that she got some kind of "power-up". But it's no really a powerup because it took three years to charge it. Maybe I'm just confused but I'm pretty sure she can't do that again for another three years. Then, suddenly she says that she finally caught up with Naruto and Sasuke. I admit that what she did was impressive but does she really think it makes her as powerful as Kurama's Jinchuuriki and a master of the Eternal Mangekyou Sharingan? I don't know if maybe, what she meant was that she prepared for three years and now she has the ability to increase her punches like that. If that is the case then yes, of course she is as powerful and Naruto and Sasuke.

So post what you think about it and could someone tell me if she can do those punches whenever she likes or does she have to gather chakra for another three years. I don't know if anyone will know because it wasn't very clear.

Sakura can now compete with them.
However, the seal is there to stay. Once it's out of chakra, she'll recharge it, exactly like Tsunade does.
It took three years for it to FORM it.

Take it as a...how should I say...

You build a glass...it takes you, theoretically speaking, 3 years to build it.
Now, after the water is gone... the glass stays, you just have to refill it.

Got it? Or do I need to explain better?! Though the analogy might not be that helpful. ^_^

I have my dough's with this too, but I think is a power up, considering that before she couldn't be in a battle. Maybe it will take more than 3 years maybe not, at this point we need her to explained that or kishi to do it. The only thing I don't understand is why the seal suddenly appear when it was said she was doing it for 3 years. How can you store chakra in a seal that isn't there?

this tells us otherwise, Tsunade says she store the chakra on the seal in her forehead. Shizune then in chapter 632 tells us that Sakura was storing chakra for 3 years in the point where her seal is. But in those 3 years we never saw a seal in her.

Not really no. What she said was how she was able to cure herself explaining that you store chakra in that seal but that doesn't negate the fact that in order to first create this seal, you have to store chakra at a specific point of your body.

"I have been gathering my chakra to the seal on my forehead" this explaining where she was storing it and how. she then explained what she did when she release said seal and what it do to her. Then Shizune tells us the consequences for doing this regeneration. Unless Kishi explains this, it doesn't make sense to me.

I don't really get why but I'll try to explain it once more. This seal is not something you get through the bloodline and so you're not born with it. In order to achieve it, in Sakura's case it took her 3 years to concentrate enough chakra to a specific part of her body in which later the seal would appear. In Tsunade's case, we met her with that but despite that photos of her past with Team Hiruzen proves that she didn't have it when she was young.

a seal is not a bloodline, I never even said it was, a seal is something crafted and it can help store, restrained and even power things,a persons and creatures. Tsunade created the seal so that she can store chakra in it and help her with her medic-ninjutsu, but it requires extreme chakra control to focus on said spot for it to store itself, something that Shizune wasn't able to do but Sakura was. The moment Sakura started storing chakra the seal should have appear, since she's storing it in it. I notice you continue to not answer the question but only answer what the seal does, again, How do you store chakra on a seal that was never there? The seal is the one storing the chakra, not Sakura or Tsunade but the seal. When Tsunade uses it, it banishes but the moment she starts to store again it returns.
