Long story short, the 3rd Kazekage puppet alone is enough to deny Kankuro's entire arsenal. He's not even on Chiyo's level for crying out loud.
Kakuro surpassed Sasori in some way, but that doesn't mean he would beat him in a fair 1v1.
Out of every weird statement a character has made, Kankuro's is the only one that doesn't make the slightest sense to me. I can't find any explanation to justify that outrageous hype.

^ it seemed to parallel the kakashi being surpassed by naruto statement, where it was irrelevant of their jutsu, but was referring to their open mindset/creativity toward similar combat situations

Not Exactly,Sakura has regeneration and poison usually leads to failed organs or body parts.this is something Sakura could Regenerate easily Regenerate as Tsunade stated she can heal organs and limbs.and anyway how is he going to get a hit with Kankorou a fellow puppeteer with poison skills himself it will go either way.
And please explain yourself not just:
