Okay so I'm going to lay it out
Gai was turning into ash because of the 8th gates
Naruto came and did something to his heart, we don't really know what he did
That stopped Gai from turning into ash
But Gai is still burning, meaning his body is still burning but he isn't turning into ash

After Naruto used his Sun Seal on Gai he stopped burning period,they even showed his body returning to normal when Naruto and Sasuke were fighting Madara.

True,you'd think they would get better at translating the manga scans though.

Who knows... but we have to admit, they bring a better cleaner version than mangapanda which seems rushed but at least brings good translations.

That's exactly what I think. Also, in part 1 her ability to break out of and sense a Genjutsu was also tossed aside. She was turned into a combination of Rin, Kushina and Tsunade and left without a persona to call her own.

I blame lazy writing. Kishi could've easily allowed Sakura to get those other villain's abilities, I mean imagine Sakura with dark release, swift release, crystal release, steel release, magnet release, etc. I would be happy if Kishi would at least gave her speed feats and some long range attack beside punch the ground or throw boulder no jutsu. Even sticking to her basic medical ninja role, she could use chakra scalpels offensively like kabuto did or something else....

not really. Naruto can't heal a poisoned person

Naruto can't do surgeries

All he can do is put back stuff, and give life force.

Do not compare that to a medical ninja. Unless you are also one of those, who believe Gates and CES are ninjutsu.. and not taijutsu.. They are different for a reason.

notice the context it is used in. We are talking about what he does, compared to medical healing.. those are 2 different things my friend.

healing : the process of making or becoming sound or healthy again.

shows how much you know about the difference between healing and medical healing.. .

Medical ninja cannot give life to peope.... fact.. Naruto can.. that is the same shit he did with obito.

healing << is refered to making someone better. Notice that the man is comparing that to medical healing.. which is not the same.

Naruto cannot medically heal people.

Sakura had much potential, and was already known as a gifted student, but yes, it seems Kishimoto decided to focus mainly on Naruto and Sasuke probably due to their connection to the sage. He seems to have placed a bit of focus back on her in the last chapter, so maybe he'll do something to make up for the neglect.



That's what bothers me the most, I really thought he would go that route with her.

Yeah but that doesn't mean that he could give her 2-3 chapters to develop that, or at least foreshadow it.

I know, but most of her abilities shown in the war were things she did off panel, and she did break a Genjutsu in part 1, so the foreshadowing was there, but forgotten by the start of part 2.

Kishimoto neglecting character since part 2, the K11 had so much potential as well but who cares at this point, the manga is about to end so there's no fix anymore.

Sakura has only the body she was born with and worked hard to achieve. The other characters have other people's power.

Tsunade/Sakura use their *own* healing abilities. They don't get *power-ups* from *gods* while they're *dead*.
Also, Sakura's the reason Naruto even is still alive and has the Sage's powers. If she didn't heal him, he would've been dead.

Sakura's character is one who's never satisfied and only partially achieving her goals & dreams.
Naruto still didn't bring Sasuke back to the Leaf village, Sasuke went on his own & he couldn't stand Naruto.

Are we in here celebrating Kishimoto *under-developing* characters or something? Do you want this to be a *bad* manga story?

The only characters underdeveloped are the side characters and Sakura.

Everyone else's story has pretty much been well developed by shonen standards.
