A light spit versus a focused, chakra based Suiton attack? Doesn't seem like a valid example to me. Lightning attacks would absolutely work, as Chidori has shown to break apart concerete and shred wood. Paper would be cut apart as well.

What difference would it make whether the suiton was chakra enhanced or not? Also how can you tell it wasn't chakra enhanced? Yes paper would get cut but Konan can still fight just fine in a deformed manner or when she's split into pieces.

Tsunade couldn't fight after getting bisected. Tsunade almost collapsed after getting impaled by those swords even though getting stabbed is nothing comparable to being left with just a torso and a head.

Konan was completely drenched with water, no? Why would a larger suiton make a difference when the properties of the water will be the same? A small amount of oil/fire worked but water did nothing.

Fire and Oil would work against her. Fire to some extent since that paper of her's was actually clashing with Jaraiya's Fire style. Water won't easily deal with her if her paper functions just fine even when drenched in water. Fire would deal with her easier than Water by the looks of it.

Wind would just disperse her papers but she'll just come back together.

And I still do consider her to be superior to Sakura and Tsunade. Katsuyu would be the only problem though and thankfully, she already has paper bombs preped within her body (excluding the 6 billion paper bomb ocean)

You got to give her some credit. She almost killed Obito if it wasn't for izangni. She was smart enough and skillful enough to understand Obito's weakness and his kamui even if it did take months of preparation. Reason why she lost is due to the plot.
