its funny. a few weeks ago this would have been an obvious spite stomp thread
Katsuyu solos... again.
Without her, Mei wins.
Neji can't spam Kaiten, or attack while he's rotating, eventually she'll hit him.
Sakura can't get close because of the acid mist, giving Mei the opportunity to attack.
Mei's Yoton and Futton should be able to overwhelm Katsuyu. This is why I believe Tsunade defeats her with mid difficulty and not with low difficulty
In all seriousness, lol at the one above me who said Katsuyu solos. There are two reasons why a water dragon will kill Katsuyu. First off, slugs thrive when the conditions within their body are acidic, water will dilute the pH inside Katsuyu so it will mess up the homeostatic conditions within the slug. If pH levels aren't kept constant, living beings die. Furthermore, the water will make Katsuyu lose its form because it will become to liquid to maintain it.
Going by EvilOne's logic, Kage level>>>>bunch of chunins.

.
Why exactly is salt needed? All that is needed is to dilute the pH. Water has a pH of 7 and acid has a pH of less than 7. Water will dilute the acidity within Katsuyu thus killing her. What? Unless the Water Dragon has salt mixed with it no way she'll be harmed.
They are mostly made of water...
If pH levels aren't kept constant, Osmosis will happen and the water inside her is dragged out, killing her. But that won't happen because Mei doesn't have SALT in her arsenal.
Not really. Salt is not the only thing that can kill/hurt Katsuyu. I can name plenty of jutsus that can do so.Well yeah, Mei wins with low difficulty. *_*
Unless Mei's WD has salt mized with it, there is no way Katsuyu will be killed/ harmed.

But Katsuyu will lose its form as it will become to liquid to maintain it. Do you get what that means?Attacks can oneshot her: TBB, Jinton, Amaterasu, Totsuka Blade, Kirin, Maybe the Rasenshurkiken
Attacks can damage, but not instantly kill her: Very strong Katons and very strong Raitons
The Water isn't killing her.

All water has 7.0 pH give or take. Slugs thrive in an acidic environment and their acidity is far lower than 7. Which means Mei's water dragon will raise the pH, thus the slug will become very ill and unable to fight until it recovers it's pH. Did you know the pH within our own bodies has to be kept nearly constant and if it isn't, serious health problems leading to death ensue? No, I don't get it, lol. All I know that Katsuyu is very durable.
And where was it stated that Mei can raise/ lower the PH level of the water?
