I know we havent seen Sakumo battle but its said he has the same respect as a Sannin and his powers are said to exceed all 3... So with that being said could Itachi handle it since he is everyones fav that ive seen

sakumo would kill him. itachi was afraid on taking on jaraiya with kisame. so sakumo would own him. if he have not have died, he probably would have been the fourth hokage and minato the fifth and the third would have still been alive! xd

Itachi. If Sakumo = J-man and Pain beat J-man and Itachi beat Nagato, then Itachi>Sakumo. Also, Itachi always wins. He even beat himself but didn't loose.

itachi wins.. y? cuz we dont kno anything about sakumo other than the fact that he had the same lvl of respect as the sannins......... tbh characters that are used in versus threads
that we havent seen theyre' true potential,battle strategy and other stuff are just based on favoritism, fan-boyisim, and assumption (and maybe some other things i havent typed) that's y i think threads like this are sometimes a fail, IMO

Orochimaru ran away in fear of how strong Itachi was. The entire reason Orochimaru and now Kabuto wanted Sasuke is because Orochimaru wanted to be like Itachi and knew there was no way he could do it without being an Uchiha. Madara said Itachi would have killed Madara. Itachi wins. J-man lost to Pain, Itachi beat Nagato. Write it down, Itachi wins.
Itachi died on purpose, came back to life, put himself under his own genjutsu and sealed Nagato after Bee and Naruto gave Nagato all of his power back. Itachi was the head of ANBU at age 13. He slaughtered the strongest clan with help from Madara. The entire time he was sick and blind.
Whoever comes out of the coffin should loose to Itachi, the only one that might beat Itachi is the 6osp... and Minato (I don't think Itachi as a counter for Minato's jutsu.
LOL @ sakumo winning, firstly a young itachi destroyed a sannin named orochimaru, people still think itachi really feared jiraya? kisame wanted to fight, what part of itachi was a pacifist do you guys not understand? he did not want to get into any unnecessary battles, so he told kisame something anything to shut him up, he did not want to capture naruto in the first place, all thats needed to defeat sakumo is tsukyomi, easy win GG proven
