What do you think they were? What made him so special? he was even more praised than the sannin.

His abilities must've been so great, here's some theorys:

-Obiously he was a great skilled kenjutsu user, since he was the owner of the white chakra blade.

-Maybe he had dog summons, since he was the "white fang", maybe the "fang" word could mean dogs or wolfs

-Maybe he had high chakra reserves, with a white aura around him.


^^Those are my theories, i know they suck but its the only thing i can think of..

He's my favourite character and kishimoto hasn't shown anything about him

the white fang probably means is white chakra sabre,because ameyuri ringo's blade was know as kiba and kiba means fang.

It was never stated how old Sakumo was so what's your point.?Sakumo Hatake died when Kakashi was like 6 or 7 years old, so I doubt he was much older than his early to mid 30s.On top of that, he wasn't on the same level as the Sannin, he was above it.Add in the fact we know he was strong and a genius, I can easily seeing him being on the level if not stronger than whatwe have seen from the 50 year old sannin.

well sakumo was like hanzo who can overpower all 3 sannins in their youth but his techniques are uknown
