very very good, you hit the mark on the strength and weakness ^_^ most people think ink is weak to fire and water. Though, if exposed for longs periods of time, water will eventually wash away the ink. As we saw in the manga, Sai could not send his hawks long distances because it was raining heavy. That is one of the weaknesses you can look at, pulling out a scroll in the middle of the rain and attempting to draw without messing up the structure of your animals.Well Ink ninjutsu is a technique that is dominantly used by Sai. The user begins by, dipping their brush into a chakra infused ink. The user then draws on a summoning scroll that can cause the picture to leap out of the scroll coming alive.
The strengths of the ink drawings are as strong as the user uses them. Since they are merely ink, they can be dispelled by blow. But if the user uses them in a well thought out tactic like your move in the recent sensei battle test you are conducting, Instead of just creating a ink tiger that runs head on at the opponent.
The reason on why I would like to learn it is due to its whole concept. Creating ink fishes that can carry information through the water, creating ink mice for spying purposes etc. I find it an interesting ability along with the hozuki ability.
You can use it in battle to catch the opponent of guard. One example is that they tend to forget that It reforms back into ink if destroyed. The ink could be used to blind the opponent.
Very good, now I want you to draw some very detailed landscapes and animals at a faster pace.(Landscapes are not used in ink ninjutsu this is to better yourself in drawing detail.)Thanks.
I begin by opening a normal, blank ninja scroll. Once open I then pick up a pencil and begin to draw a adult size salt water crocodile. I make sure, I add every bit of detail, including every scale, and teeth that are out of place. I give the drawn crocodile a long and powerful jaw, a long tail, and a wide muzzle.

I then unravel the scroll to get more blank paper for my second drawing. I pick up my pencil and begin to draw a adult panda. I draw its body first as a template. Once drawn,I then begin to add its features such as its paws and tails. Once its body is complete, I begin to add its fur. I color its eyes black , over its ears and
across its round body.

Very good, now that you've gotten a bit accustomed into drawing somewhat faster, its time to step it up. I want you to draw a very detailed animal of your choosing as I throw a barrage of shuriken your way. The goal of this exercise is to pull out your scroll and start drawing the animal as you maneuver around the shuriken. I will only be throwing a few at a time because you currently can not apply chakra to your creations to protect yourself.Time to pick up the speed ^_^
I begin by imagining the landscape I wish to draw. Once ready I pull out my brush, and throw the scroll into the air. I place my brush onto the scroll and begin to draw two large palm tree's, with broad leaves that catch the rays of the large sun. I add a large beach, with several large, smooth pebbles. I then draw a large ocean, with a sail boat in the background. This is drawn while the scroll is in the air.

Now time for those pesky animals
I begin by drawing a mountain large cat, with a round head, with two erect ears. I add, features that are known for the cat, such as a powerful jaw, large paws with claws, large and powerful hind legs. The tail of the cat, is fairly big, with it's colour darkening as it reaches the tip of the tail. This is all drawn at a really fast rate

Very good, now its time to move onto ink infusing. This'll be hard
As the shurikens head towards Sai, he quickly unravels his scroll into the air, and pulls out his brush. He begins to quickly draw a turtle, he quickly draws the shell of the creature, but hasn't got enough time to draw the rest. He throws the scroll directly over his head, while jumping through the gap between two 'layers' of shurkens. As he passes through the shurikens he catches the scroll and brush finishing off the picture.
I want you focus your chakra inside of your ink jar, successfully infusing it. You will then proceed to dip your brush into the chakra infused ink as you then continue to draw a miniature version of yourself on the scroll. Once the drawing is completely, I want you to perform a single hand seal as you manipulate the chakra infused ink, causing the ink to expand outwards, taking physical shape. This is classified as an ink clone, allowing it to use other ink techniques.(Sumi Bunshin) - Ink Clone
Rank: D
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:10
Damage Points:N/A
Description:A clone made of ink that takes a physical form. This clone can use ink jutsu (Beast Imitation etc...).
Good.So it begins O_O...
(Sumi Bunshin) - Ink Clone
I begin by focusing my chakra into my ink jar, allowing me to take control of it. I dip my brush into the chakra infused ink and begin to draw a miniature version of myself on the scroll. I draw every bit of detail, making a identical copy. Once the picture is complete, I perform one handseal, while manipulating the ink, to remove its self from the scroll, taking physical shape.
Now I want you and your clone to take out another scroll as you proceed to draw small animals (up to 5), then following the same principle of performing the necessary hand seal and expanding the ink outwards, allowing it to take physical shape.(Ninpou: Choujuu Giga) - Ninja Art Beast Imitation
Rank: C
Type:Supplementary/Attack
Range:Short-Long
Chakra Cost:15(-3 for each additional animal created)
Damage Points:30
Description:The user draws out small animals that can attack(lions), bind(snakes),and allow the user to fly(birds). This jutsu consists of 5 small animals. The pictures can be pre-drawn but you must open the scroll.
Note:The 5 animal limit can be any variety of small animals.
OOC: Yeah that's correct.(Ninpou: Choujuu Giga) - Ninja Art Beast Imitation
I begin by by taking out two fresh new scroll for me and my clone to draw on. Once taken out, I begin to swiftly draw two lions. Once drawn, I perform a single handseal, causing the two lions to expand from the scroll and take a physical shape. I then draw a single bird , onto the scroll. Once drawn I perform the same handseal again, causing the drawing of the bird to expand from the scroll and take shape. The bird takes flight into the air, patrolling the area.
My clone takes out his brush, and begins to draw two small snakes on his scroll. Once drawn he performs a single handseal, causing the animals to expand from the scroll ad take a solid shape.
( So its possible to draw any animal we saw Sai draw? Such as leeches, owls, mice etc.)
This technique is an advanced version of what you just performed. With the usage of this technique you can draw three huge animals like dragons and 10 small animals like mice. The best thing about this technique is that by adding more chakra(as shown in the template of the technique) you can increase the amount of drawings.(Ninpou: Chou Choujuu Giga) - Ninja Art: Super Beast Imitation
Rank:B
Type:Supplementary
Range:Short
Chakra Cost:20(-6 for each additional large animal past 3 or -3 for each small animal past 10)
Damage Points:40
Description:This is a more powerful version of beast imitation. The user can create huge animals. This can range form 3 huge dragons or 10 small animals. The pictures can be pre-drawn but you must open the scroll.*
This technique is a bit different than the ones you've been performing thus far. I want you to pour some of your ink onto the ground, forming linear stains of sorts. You will then proceed to shape manipulate the chakra inside the ink to form several individual snakes that dig into the ground and burst underneath your target, binding him in place. If the opponent uses something physical like an earthen defense to "disperse" the snakes, you can post this technique again and have the snakes reform as its one of the abilities of this technique.(Ninpu: Sumi Nagashi) – Ninja Art: Ink Balance
Rank: B
Type: Supplementary
Range: Short – Mid
Chakra cost: 20
Damage points: N/A
Description: The user will pour some special ink onto the ground, and summon several ink snakes to strike from underground and restrain the opponents. Should the opponent prove to be strong enough to break the binds, the snakes can reform around the target, making struggling pointless.
Note: Can only be used by Sai
Very good, any questions? ^_^Ninpu: Sumi Nagashi) – Ninja Art: Ink Balance
I begin by pouring some of the chakra infused ink onto the ground, creating a puddle of ink on the ground. I use shape manipulation to manipulate the ink to form several snakes that travel underground, towards the opponent. Once they reach them, the snakes bind themselves onto the target, immbolising them. I reform the snakes every time the opponent breaks the binding of the snakes.
(Ninpo: Sumi Shishi Taka Konbo) – Ninja Art: Ink Lion Hawk Combo
I begin by opening a new scroll, and dipping my brush into the jar of ink. Once prepared, I draw three lions, and a single hawk. I perform a single handseal, causing the lions and hawk, to expand from the scroll and take physical shape. The lions heads towards the opponent, delivering a series of attacks resulting in the opponent to be thrown into the air above. Whilst in the air, the hawk flaps its wings, releasing a fury of ink needles that pierce the enemy.
(Choju Giga: Gotenshu) -Super Beasts Imitation Picture: Armor Collection
I begin by opening a new scroll, and dipping my brush into the jar of ink. Once prepared, I draw the same drawings as before. Three lions and a hawk. I perform the needed handseal, causing the animals to take shape and expand from the scroll. I command the lions to attack the enemy, keeping them occupied while I hop onto the hawks back. Once airborne, I command the hawk to dive towards the ground, while I grasp my tanto in my right hand, ready to slash the opponent. Once I near him, I leap off the bird and bring the tanto onto the enemies torso, slashing him open.
(Ninpo: Choju Ryu Giga) - Ninja Art: Super Beast Dragon Imitation Picture
I begin by unraveling the pre-drawn scrol, revealing the drawing of a large Chinese dragon. I perform the needed handseal, causing the dragon to expand from the scroll and take a solid shape. I command the dragon to carry the opponent into the sky, while with another command, I cause the dragon to adjust his body in so that he is able to slam the opponent into the ground.
(Ninpo: Choju Giga Hitoame) - Ninja Art: Super Beast Imitation Picture Shower
I begin by unraveling my scroll, while dipping my brush into the chakra infused ink. I draw twelve lions, and a single dragon that expand from the scroll with a single handseal. I command the lions to leap into the air, crashing down into the opponent. While distracted by the lions, the lion takes flight into the sky. The dragon crashes down into the opponent who attention id on the lions.
