Sai's disappointing comeback

I love how the Juubi just fodderized Sai, like 'SIT YO ASS DOWN NAO, BOY!'.

But really, now that Sasuke is back, do you think Sai is just going to become a fodder character? It makes sense, because in the face of restored Team 7, he might as well be Konohamaru. Either that, or Kishi might kill him off. Or he might just fade into the background like he did for the last...thirty chapters.

You know, that might actually work. Except for the fact that Neji was a Taijutsu user, and Sai mainly uses Ninjutsu, that might work quite well.

Since Danzou is dead, Sai does not have Root to fall back on. Since Sasuke is back, he doesn't have Team 7 either, nor does he have Ino as a "girlfriend" of sorts. As a part of Root, I doubt the Hokage would ever let him into ANBU. So, it seems like he truly has nowhere to go.
