this could be how the Senju and Uzumaki are related

not saying he has one and that she's an Uzumaki. the sage himself could be an Uzumaki. wont know until we are told of his story. which should be a very interesting one

hmm.. i dont know.. if the sage's wife was a uzumaki dont that make uchihas kinda uzumaki like?? also if it was so. the uzumakis would at least have more of a story in the show, like a curse of hatred stuff maybe?

Why would she be an Uzumaki? The clan was a detachment of the Senju Bloodline... it came after the Senju so therefore the Uzumaki clan did not exist back then. Also I think Uchiha and Senju were the first clan.
