Hagomoro's staff has both "Sun" and "Moon" symbols.

So basically Naruto has the "Sun" symbol as he has Ashura's chakra.

Sasuke has the "Moon" symbol as he has Indra's chakra. (Just like Madara)

what this means is that obito had the influence of the sun side, ashura, but his judgement and vision was clouded and twisted. he was shown the sun side when he saw everyone was united against him. he had no choice but to wake up, as he was supposed to have that power, but didn't. that's why he finally believed in naruto. Obito was walking along that journey of connnecting people, but his obsession ..err love of rin got in the way and consumed him after her death. he fell off the path.
