It came to me while reading a thread discussing Kaguya being the Entity in the Death Ripper Seal.

Many people have been wondering why the juubi was "sealed into both brothers" but the Sage's brother is never mentioned. I think the during the fight, both brothers were gravely weakened, when the brother decided to do a sacrificial act similar to Minato's in the rampage of the Nine Tales. He used the Death Ripper Seal to seal half of the Juubi in himself, and then another technique used to put the other half of the Juubi into the Sage of Six Paths, before his life ended. What do you think?

Uhhh, it doesn't say anywhere that the Uzumaki came from the sage. On the contrary, this chapter pretty much disproves that theory, since we know with 100% certainty that Hagoromo only had two sons, two BIOLOGICAL(not Creation of All Things) sons. Soo either Uzumaki came from the Senju, or they came from Hagoromo's brother, which I think is the better option. They are distant blood relatives, well the Uzumaki coming from Hagoromo's brother would make them distant blood relatives would they not?

Or maybe what happened is that Sage's brother accepted his brother as the Juubi host and respected him.
And the Sage, by his own experiences, expected the same thing to happen to his sons.
