Naruto can used TSB rod because of having Rikudou senjutsu, Juubito can used TSB rod because being a Juubi jin.

But still according the Manga fact Rinnegan user without Rikudou Senjutsu cant used TSB Rod unless they stole some Rikudou Senjutsu power from Juubi jin(Exp post JJ Obito)

At the scan Indra gave us, Naruto attacking that black rod, thats mean he applying some force on that Black rod. Because that he can broke it. But it never shown that Naruto in sage mode tanked that rod bare body.

And for Will materialization aka Black Rod, it not just contained user Will but other power from Rinnegan or Mazo also. Because that it can tanked Amaterasu or pierced human body.

The Frog kumite is what broke black rods, but this thread focuses on why does it even hurt Sagemode users if their strength/defense goes significantly up.

That's why I gave the example of Jiriaya getting steamrolled by this:

So the kumite is the only reason why naruto broke the rods, but any incoming attacks shouldn't damage a sagemode user not even huge rusty pipes in jiraiya's case. Yet a black stick can?

The rods were revealed to be that of the gedo mazou alone, it's not really the rinnegan because sasuke and hagromoo has no access to one or can use one.

Nagato and Obito achieved madara's will by the implantation of gedo.

With that being said, how can a black zetsu like substance damage sagemode users?

It came from the gedo mazou yes, but what makes it so unique or sturdy enough to damage virtually anyone including sagemode/medical ninjas?

SM Naruto's durability is rather poor. When the sharp point is small and penetrating in nature, it usually fails. The rods were speared into his gut by Nagato and damage was so severe that Kurama had to step in to heal it. Albeit it was anger as well.

Similarly, SM Hashirama was stabbed about 7 or so times by Madara as well. Then Naruto felt Katon's heat on his skin and screamed. I don't see what's so special about SM's durability.

Thanks for reminding me that a black rod damaged naruto in the end and when he was sensing Pein.

But here's the weird part...

Naruto got hit good shrina tensei and was fine:

Kyuubi form/sm didn't get crushed by CT but these black rods damage all bijuus/sm users

Sm hashirama's sage mode doesn't provide tough duribility like the other sagemodes.

Even kabuto gets damaged by a sword slice from itachi.

His sagemode gives him superior healing powers that has never been surpassed (forth databook).

But frog sagemode gives you high jumping, super strength, and impenetrable body in a sense.

All SM are working the same way with slight differences. Naruto healed up from that Black Rod's penetration as well, otherwise he would've died due to blood lose.

Not really. All SMs' work on the same principles. NEs inclusion into your body enhances two factors: Spiritual Energy and Physical Energy.

Enhancing PE means enhancing all stats.

- Naruto was trapped inside CT under a V2 Cloak that expanded till 8 tails.
- Somehow, CT is intact, and Naruto is magically standing outside ... and in SM to boot?

Firstly ST is different from stabbing attacks. Its a gravity attack. This shows his body is durable enough to survive it.

Secondly CT, well that thing was a joke actually. Not the attack but that event.

Clones obviously dispelled while you were still Kyuubi, and you were talking with 4th and feeling despair. That natural energy should've left without anyone to control it. Anyway assuming I'm buying all this crap, it is Kyuubi who survived CT not Naruto. And when Kyuubi's effect left Naruto should be like this or worse. This was the result of a 4 tails rampage, but Naruto endured 8 tails.

Sakura was forced to heal him after. Anyway like I said if I buy this crap, I would say since 4 tails damaged him that bad and made it necessary for Sakura to heal him, Naruto being in top-notch condition with SM is showing his Sennin mode's healing abilities.
