Sage technique appearences

So as I am all sure we've read and have seen Kabuto in sage mode. Now remember how Jiraiya and Naruto looked after they have went into sage mode. One can always tell how someone is in sage mode by lookin @ the overall body appearance of the character (i.e Jiraiya having webbed toes and warts, Kabuto having no legs and scales) BUT the main message lies in the EYES of the person as long as those eyes correspond to the 5 sealed ANIMAL SUMMONING of the user respectively. When one takes the appearance in sage modes the eyes are ALWAYS the same as the animals. With that being said who's to say Orochimaru didnt master sage mode, I mean look @ his final form he had to been there @ least once it isnt coincidence the guardian of ryochidou is a "giant white snake with hair coming out". My theory is he mastered sage mode, but it wasnt enough for him, so he tried to copy himself as the guardian but was banished somehow on tryin that. What do you think?

That's jus what Kabuto believes, there's no hardcore proof that he hasnt been to the Ryochidou. Orochimaru couldve died before we got to see him use sage mode. I mean Itachi had a new long range attack after he came back from the dead

I believe that Lord Orochimaru was an incomplete sage. He had the eyes of the snake summons, and used all forms of snake techniques. I believe he could not receive the true Sage mode because he didnt have the proper body (or maybe eyes...?)

Again, that's what Kabuto beleives
There is no proof nor evidence to back up what Kabuto is saying
Everybody thought Madara died when he fought Hashirama and we now see thats not the case

I don't know how you can construe "Even he couldn't become a true sage in the end..." in any other way. I don't even understand how you even come to the conclusion that it's his belief? There is no ambiguity in anything he says. He studied and treated Orochimaru and even researched for/with him, different jutsus. Kabuto was Orochimaru's right hand man, he knew everything about Orochimaru. He knew Orochimaru found the Dragon Cave but could not obtain the ability because he did not have the body for it so...even he couldn't become a true sage in the end.

MilwaukeegHost had it on point: Jiraiya and Naruto = Orchimaru and Kabuto, respectively.

He did found it that's why Orochimaru mastered the snake techniques but not the Snake-Sage mode -- but he does have the Yamata no Jutsu.

Orochimaru did find the place, but didn't have the body or the large chakra to mix with the natural energy to become a Sage

However, Kabuto got around this by taking Uzumaki and Juugo's DNA, just re-read the chapter.
