If shikamaru mastered frog sagemode and dragon sagemode and was somehow able to combust the

2 abilities together, would he be on the same level of sage sasuke or sage naruto? and if not, would

he be on the same level as obito/kakashi? with his knowledge surely he'd be able to find a weak point

in current naruto/sasuke. if shikamaru is able to enhance his shadow possession with nature energy,

naruto and sasuke cannot move and are dead? and one more thing, would sage shikamaru be able to

take down itachi [prime] ?

also to add to it, if shikamaru also had FTG + sage mode wouldnt he be able to take down sage naruto/sasuke easily? minato was just an ordinary ninja and was able to use FTG and sage mode, im sure shikamaru could learn/get those techniques

Agree apart from the ''10 times smarter'' bit lol minato is a strategical fighter and a genius at developing ninjutsu etc, shikamaru and his dad are strategical analysists and only support fighters. There is a massive difference in their applications but it has never been disputed that shikamaru is smarter than minato by far.

Shikamaru has a massive chakra pool, he was able to maintain shadow possession on Hidan and Kakuzu along with using it multiple times. I personally think Shikamaru has more stamina than Rock Lee and his Chakra Pool is on the level of Killer Bee.

Minato IS an average ninja without FTG, without FTG, Minato is nothing, he wouldn't be able to utilize any of his techniques. Minato without FTG is the same as part 1 Neji. And Minato isn't even that smart, read the manga and you'll see why he isn't that bright.
