The sage is like god... but you know even with all the powers that he has, I doubt he can see into the future, making plans ahead in setting his overall goal peace.

Um if this was true all the Sage had to do was not kill some of the strongest leaf village shinobis that were also peaceful .

With minatos abilities , Itachi's eyes and abilities, and Shisui's eyes and abilities. Obito nor madara would stand a chance.
