It says in the manga and anime that the so6p was the only one who mastered the reningan.

If so what else do you guys think is their to master in the reningan ?

Or to further that, maybe a combination of all three eyes. ultimate killer haha. The sage could master life and death and creation. So i would imagine thats either from the eye's or maybe just a portion of his power that he yeilds. I hope they elaborate more on this.
