I wouldn't say it's out of control. Created ninjutsu, so he has to know something. First person to have the Rinnegan, not just possessed it. Not to mention, the moon. He is a legendary figure, and it seems like he is most likely the strongest ninja so far that existed. Who knows if Naruto is going to surpass him, but there is no way he is over hyped. He is basically a god figure in Naruto. xd
