i just had a thought that the sages silhouette must be his jinchuriki chakra mode just like narutos any thoughts :no_ignore:

Well we've never seen him appear any way other than that, and we know one can't hold on to that form forever. It's possible, but the 10 Tail would have to be in him for him to be able to go into that form. We see the so6p standing, in that form, in front of the 10 tail all the time.

that could just be tobi just talking about the sage and the 10 tails so its just showing the 2, the form that naruto takes is the seal of the sage so it could explain why he takes the shape of the sage

naruto clock form is the same as rikudo that's why kyubi called naruto rikudo and the sage of six path. and it's also a mistery.
