hum! I don't want to read all the posts xd I usually do if the thread is small, to not to say the same thing xd But I'm sleepy. So gonna throw out my opinion xd
First off: Nice thread.
Second, I don't have a theory, but gonna comment on what ya wrote:
1. About the ten-tails: What I've always wondered is where it came from. We have read the ten-tails is called the progenitor.

Letting aside the def of chakra according to Naruto manga, if the the ten tails is indeed the beginning of all chakra, most likely Rikudo was born without the Rinnegan considering any dojutsu seems to need chakra in order to work.
So I think Rikudo had already a strong body and gained the rinnegan when he became a jinchiriki.
Anyway, he being a jin leaves some questions too:
1.How does a sealing tech works? If the ten tails is the progenitor, then it has nothing to do with chakra.
The fact Rikudo new sealing techs seems to link him to Uzumakis strongly, making a gud chance he was either the first Uzumaki or one of them.
I don't believe rikudo cleaned the ten tails of its evil, because the bijus were known for being "evil" -specially Kurama-.
About he splitting his body, I don't know :l That's entirely speculation.
I'm probably overlooking lots of things, but I want to go to sleep.

Most likely, the first DNA has been lethal throughout the series for a reason, the abilities that they both posses represent something. Now, it's all about finding their connection to Naruto and Sasuke or do you think there is no connection, but purely fate itself??

Ik ... Sasuke is a mini madara ... As for naruto he has all the firsts ideal ... There is a big connection ... but naruto is releted to the sage as well ... both being jin

Ha u got some points .... But body spliting seems more probable because of the sharin to be true... And the chakra was in human body before the sage got 10 tails but the thing Being that people didnt know how to use chakra

May be So6p divided the jubbi's Yin Yang chakra into their sons, giving Elder sone (Yin = Shadow) chakra which forth introduced different eyes tech and (Yang = Light) to Younger son, those with warm/bright chakra and will as Karin mentioned about naruto.!!

xd I'm confused too. Hahaha I also believe chakra already existed, but Kurama assures that the ten-tails it's the progenitor xd So I don't understand this manga anymore hahaha Hope Kishi explains it well xd

Not bad... Though I didn't get too much out of reading this. One interesting fact however, is the paths Tobi already has mentioned. Think one of them was mentioned when he retrieved the Rinnegan from Nagato, after defeating Konan. Can't remember them though.

I dont think ur theory is correct or i am misundrstanding it ... u indicated that uzumakis are from the elder son

That reningan was given to nagato by madara who had added senju cells in his body
