D first one and he only wore the spiral zetsu one bcos he body was not heal enough but he body is covered with wood or somthing similar to zetsus but not zetsus

Black rods implanted in spiral zetsu corrupted obito a little =D

Obito isnt loyal to madara but share same vision.
Degraded Zetsu isnt enough to overtake under control an uchiha. So6p had senju body and had no problems cuz he had uchiha spirit thus its plays out nicely in obito's favor, so still under his control.

death is a part of life. its the circumstances that matter. the ninja world is corrupt and full of war which led to rin's death. if hes a wieak minded fool for wanting to change the world and bring peace then so is naruto. they want the same thing.

The third one... horrible idea. The Kotoamatsukami genjutsu, only one man could use it, Shisui Uchiha. Shisui died when Sasuke was a child, a young child. Shisui's eyes were the only ones that could use the genjutsu. Both eyes were destroyed; Itachi used Amaterasu and designated the eye, and Danzo used Reverse Four Symbols Sealing Technique and destroyed the other eye. There is implicitly no way in hell that Obito is under a genjutsu.

The first one's most plausible but I personally believe Obito has a hidden agenda that accounts for his radical behaviour.

Uchihas are known for their emotional retardness bunch of them will justify their evil actions just because they got but hurts. Pretty dumb people when it comes to EQ.

If you think any of these are the reason Obito is doing what you're doing then you clearly don't understand him as a character.

In the latest chapter we found out that Obito is more sinister and psychotic than we expected.
Not only does he know the truth about Rin's death, but he is convinced that everything in this world is fake and he want's to replace this with an illusion/fake version where everyone can have their own happy ending.
He's contradicting himself and has lost the ability to think logically.

Here are my possible theories as to why he is acting like an insane person:

1. Uchiha Syndrome:

-This is probably the most obvious one. According to Tobirama, Uchihas are loving clan so much so that when they lost someone (in Obito's case: Rin), they become insane.

-We know how much Obito loved Rin because he went to save her by himself even though he is up against 3 more experienced Shinobi.

-His last wish was for Kakashi to protect Rin, and Kakashi failed to do that because he let Rin to be captured by the mist ninja in the first place, putting him in that circumstances that led to her death.

-Obito was still young and naive when he met Madara, so he was able to take advantage of his vulnerability.


2. Spiral Zetsu:

-Do you remember the spiral zetsu? He is one of the original Zetsus and has now become fully part of Obitos body. Maybe the consciousness of the Spiral zetsu is slowly taking over Obito without him realizing.

-The Tobi personality bears a striking resemblance to the Spiral Zetsu, acting goofy.

-We all know that every Zetsus are loyal to Madara because he created them. The Spiral Zetsu offered his help to Obito so that he could become part of him and slowly corrupting him from the inside.

-This is also the reason why Obito will never turn good because when he does change his mind, I believe that the Spiral zetsu will take control of him fully, considering that his body is made up of more than 50% zetsu.

-This could also be the reason why his left side of the body has the ability of Zetsu to regenerate and doesn't need a heart.

3. Genjutsu: Kotoamatsukami

-Or something similar. This genjutsu makes the user strongly believe something or their feelings to be true without them knowing that they are being controlled. Madara wanted his plan to come in fruition, he would surely do everything so that Obito would act according to his plans. He probably made Obito strongly believe that Eternal Tsukoyomi is the only way to heal this rotten Shinobi world.

-Madara is the ultimate Uchiha who was able to learn the secret of unlocking Rinnegan, surely he found a way to create a genjutsu similar to it.

-We also don't know what the abilities of Madara's eyes yet (such as Amaterasu, Kamui, etc) besides showing us Susano. One of them might be a Genjutsu similar to Kotoamatsukami.
