...Is this a serious thread? If you mean without Naruto being able to go KN, Pain takes this the exact same way he did in the Manga.

Naruto fought Pain when Deva was on cooldown, had little knowledge on his new abilities, and was only willing to capture not kill him. Whereas Naruto had 3 boss summons along with Ma, Pa and part of Katsuyu as backup, and would have still lost had Hinata not "interfered" leading to Naruto going into 6 tailed Kyuubi Mode.

It's pretty obvious that Pain would have rammed a chakra rod through Naruto's skull under these conditions.
