Don't worry not trolling, just an interesting thought.

I've heard people mention Sasuke and even Sakura gaining snake/slug sage mode respectively; and I completely dismissed it as ridiculous.

Then it occurred to me, What if Gamakichi sprayed them with a bunch of toad oil? They would immediately begin gathering nature energy; meaning the other two New Sannin gaining sage mode could be plausible, even if it shouldn't happen.

Although, realistically they would probably turn to stone if this happened.

I don't think it quite works like that. The toad oil from a toad is sorta like their nin-jutsu. The toad oil from the oil water fall thing evaporates outside of its normal climate instantly aswell.


Edit; Plus the Sannin would of both had to have had training in Sage mode (staying still) and that means they would of most likely trained with their respective animals way of doing it too.

It is probably the easiest for a slug sage to gather energy, because the slug summoners seem to have chakra control, and medical nin jutsu, as well as seals, so it seems slugs are big on chakra control and slugs are connected to their summoners.
So maybe they can gain the energy quickly and easier id there i a slug mode.

OT: But i doubt that they would gain a sage mode if it wasn't by their own power.

And plus, they are not Uzumakis. Uzumakis have natural strong chakra, life-force, and they live a lot longer. They would probably turn to stone like the others who tried did.
