Sage mode

A theory on how Kabuto enters his sage mode. Feel free to contradict.
Abosrbing nature energy transforms the user to a toad sage. But the snake fused with Kabuto, I think it's the one responsible for Kabuto's dragon sage mode. Maybe it aborbs nature energy while bieng fused with Kabuto (like Ma and Pa with Jiraya) giving him a different appearance and his sage mode.

It may be he experimented all three (Juugo's, Seigetsu's and Karin's D.N.A) on the snake and then had it fused xd
