Nah it isn't possible just because Sage mode comes from natural energy, and each and everyone has different way of absorbing it, and on top of that Nature is wide entity so you don't need to return chakra.

It technically is unlimited because at any point in time, Nature can wipe out humanity and it would start all over again...

We're killing our own planet quicker than nature can regenerate it, the only problem is, there is nature even in space :-D. Other planets are made of rock and natural gases just like Earth is (just not inhabitable for us, but still a force of nature).
