Which mode you think has the best sensing skills out of the two, first off let´s list some feats of sage and bijuu mode:
Sage mode:
he can sense the flow of natural energy something you cannot do with BM
When he fought pain he could sense every single chakra around the leaf and that´s how he found out kakashi was killed
He could pinpoint nagato´s location by impaling tha chakra rods in his arm
He dodged the third raikage super fast attack
He could sense juubi natural energy something he couldnt do with BM
Bijuu mode:
he was able to sense minato´s chakra from a very far off
he can tell if someone has bad intentions
As convinient as sensing bad intentions sounds as a feat of BM, i think sage mode gives you better sensing skills in the middle of a battle as he could pinpoint very exactly where a chakra is located also naruto noted when fighting the third raikage that he could sense his movements better with sage mode.
