This is to clear up the misconception on the base that naruto in sage mode cant make more than 3 sm clones.​

When naruto fought Pain he could only make 4 shadow clones.
2 were at toad land gathering chakra

and 2 were fighting with him.

Now, The ONLY reason, and i repeat ONLY REASON naruto left clones at Mount Myoboku was to gather natural chakra for him so when he ran out on the battlefield it could be replaced quickly. As pa explains here:

The purpose of the clones was to allow naruto to aquire sage chakra, because he had yet to master absorbing sage chakra quickly while moving on his own. He was not able to quickly absorb the sage chakra nessasary to activate his technique at the time.

naruto explained that he couldnt make any more clones because making more clones would disrupt the clones who were gathering natural chakra. That is the only reason naruto could not make more clones.

Current naruto has since mastered sage mode, to where he needs only 1 second to gather all natural chakra and he doesnt need to be completely still to do it. Here you can see naruto instantly going into sage mode while moving and talking:

which proves that naruto has now has mastered sage mode to where he can gather his own natural energy in about 1-2 seconds. Which means he no longer needs clones to gather it for him while he is in battle..

This now allows all his clones freedom to gather there own natural chakra in 1-2 seconds when summoned for battle, as seen when Bijuu mode naruto summoned a base clone to enter sage mode.

I hope this can help show most that naruto is now fully capable of producing more clones then from pain arc. Seeing as the setback was only because of his inability for gather natural chakra in a short period of time.

Kishi won't do that, cause if Narutos clones where powered like we think he'd be too OP.

Kishi won't do that, cause if Narutos clones where powered like we think he'd be too OP.

I think we will see it by the end of the war arc.. But techinically naruto started tapping on the door of being OP when he created mini rasenshuriken and planetary rasengan.

i wouldn't call it in 1 second but he has gain greater control in SM significantly. what i do know is Naruto cant run while gathering nature energy, he can move slightly and speak, but heavy movements are prohibited, if he tries to do so he transform into a toad statue.

i agree. I think it will take more training to be able to run. The fact that he can speak and move his body was a testament that he has greatly improved his sage abilities.

I think that it is easier for him to gather nature chakra now that kurama and him are working together. I also feel that if naruto merges his sage chakra with kurama's chakra it will boost kurama's limits to extreme which we may get to see I feel kurama will give naruto the idea to do this.
