if naruto were to use frog kumite which extends the attack radius like he did with pain where he missed the punch but still hit him would that work with obito since obito can't actually see the attack?

I don't believe obito constantly maintains his intangibility. He can only stay that way for five minutes. that means that he has to turn it on and off. remember when minato blizted him and he didn't have his intangibility active? if naruto was fast enough, he could potentially hit him

That's not true. Though you are corret about the sharingan being ablle to detect the change in the user's chakra, it wouldn't be able to detect the natural energy arround him. That's because natural energy is not chakra, so even the sharingan can't see it flowing.
