Does orochimaru know snake sage mode? If so is he always in in that mode , since his are shaped/looked differenly ?

No. Revert back to when Kabuto first went introduced it. He said he achieved something even Oro couldn't.

No. Kabuto explained this to Itachi and Sasuke. Orochimaru could not obtain sage mode for some reason. On a side note, though, apparently Kabuto cannot maintain sage mode without Orochimaru's DNA.

Since he could use senjutsu chakra that leads me to believe he had some kind of imperfect sage mode. Remember, jiraiya didn't have a perfect sage mode, he needed ma and pa. Maybe Oro was always using an imperfect sage mode because he couldn't support perfect SM, and what kabuto had was perfect sage mode.

Think of it this way, Imperfect sage mode=Oro/snake perfect sage mode=Kabuto/dragon

Just a guess though.

The manga is kind of unclear on this issue. Personally I think Orochimaru's White Snake form is an extremely imperfect SM.

So by going with the logic in this thread does that mean there's also a Shark sage mode since Kisame looks like a shark?
