sage mode genjutsu or tsukyomi what's better?

We know that sage mode genjutsu goes by sound and it easier to trap someone because how can you not here and we seen from the Jiraya and pain fight that it was an eternal genjutsu as long as the sword was left there. We all know about tsukyomi so which one is better?

I think sage genjutsu is just because it's audible so it easier to get caught in it

Exactly. From the way DANZO used it. were talking about the technique not whose using it. koto is by far one of the top

Going off hype isn't necessarily wrong, until given weakness to it besides the 10 yr activation it holds title as the stronger of most genjusus shown

tsukyomi is near instant but it requires constant eye contact which is fine for a 1v1 fight but other than than its suicide since the user is a sitting duck
frog song takes a little bit of prep time but you can effect multiple enemies

72 hours in tsukyomi are 1 sec in the real world

that is itachi's version only,and that time frame works on the victim,one second outside is 3 days of torture in tsukiyomi making it impossble to break by normal means,itachi still needs to manipulate the inner chakra,set the genjutsu and alter the time perception,it takes one second to feel the comlete effects after it has been done.

It's tsukuyomi in general that lasts for 72 hours, remember that Itachi is the only one so far to acctually use tsukuyomi, when Sasuke uses MS genjutsu it is never called tsukuyomi, he isnt good enough at genjutsu. but he has enton to compensate

I would go with tsukuyomi for 1v1 and sage genjutsu for 1v2 or more.
