assuming he still have his vision and kirin which have nothing to do with sharingan but if he is literally blind with no vision then its kinda obvious.

Blind Uchiha can still use Susanoo as noted with Itachi and Madara.... This means that blind Sasuke would still wipe the floor with Naruto

Besides the technical faults such as having to be stationary to gather energy there is no actual drawbacks to using sage mode.
Its not a power up that comes with a cost other than the skills necessary to obtain it.

Also when SM run out the user will be heavily fatigued and hurt.
