So I got to thinking, why have we not see anyone aside from TenTen use the sage items, that were not of his heritage; and Kakashi...

More to the point: (aside from plot no Jutsu), would it not stand to reason that said sage eye (Uchiha eye) that Kakashi "holds" should hold truethe same as holding ANY of the sage items...

For that reason alone, I feel any non sage liniage nin should be able to possess them, and ONLY use up chakra when they are in use... Much like when Kakashi uses his gift...

Yes we've seen TenTen USE a gift, but not as much as Kakashi has been able to hold onto said gift himself... (and that one Hidden Mist ninja that was seen with the Mizukage that has a Byakughan eye). ...that said, it appears Kakashi is not thy only one that is unique in this equation...

The Difference is wielding it counts as using it. If its put in a scabbard or something then yes i understand your point but otherwise it makes sense why its chakra taxing even when Tenten was using it.
