Obito does have more experience and knowledge than Hashirama. Madara passed all his knowledge to Obito.
Obito spent his whole life studying and gathering information on the clans of Narutoverse and their jutsus.
Obito had the best network(zetsus) to get all his info from, Zetsus records everything for him.
Hashirama on the other hand had no such resources or teachers.
