Anyone notice the sealing jutsu Hashirama used in this chapter to hold down the ten-tails looked exactly like the one naruto used to hold down Kurama in his mind scape after he achieved KCM. Coincidence?

Not really since the Torii of the Eight Trigrams Seal is a Shinmei Torii while Hashirama's is a Kashima Torii

I noticed that too. Kurama also noted that it was the seal of the Sage of the Six Paths when Naruto used it on him.
