"Forgive me Sasuke… …It ends with this"
Itachi's first death was one of the most sad and emotional moments of Part 1 and Part 2 of the series. After , all of the times when they were younger when Itachi would say , " Forgive Me Sasuke... Again, next time" Itachi's last words were memorable ones as most of his quotes were. Making it look like all hope was lost for Sasuke with Itachi walking slowly towards him , looking as he was going to take Sasuke's eyes but it was made to be quite the opposite with Itachi dying with a very rare smile to his beloved younger brother and saying "Forgive me Sasuke… …It ends with this". What a "ending" to the mysterious and beloved character of Itachi.
"You and Konan… you've gotta stay alive somehow… You're… the saviour of… the world… You… can… bring… real--"
Yahiko's death was very sad due to the situation Yahiko , Konan and Nagato were put in due to the trap set by Hanzo. At the time Yahiko formed a group named the Akatsuki which promoted building peace without the use of force. Without them knowing it was a trap Hanzo (and Danzo) feeling threatened by Yahiko and the rest of the Akatsuki set out to eliminate them. So he gave Nagato a choice bewteen killing Konan and Yahiko. With Yahiko feeling the weight of being the leader threw himself upon Nagatos kunai , killing himself and saving Konan and Nagato. His last words being "You and Konan… you've gotta stay alive somehow… You're… the saviour of… the world… You… can… bring… real-- before dying off. This was a sad scene due to showing how a great person and leader Yahiko was and him sacrificing his life for the safety of his friends and comrades.
"Yahiko and Nagato's will hasn't vanished from this world! I believe in Naruto too! He… He will become the bridge that leads us to peace and I will be a support holding the bridge up!"
Konans death against Obito (Tobi) was a pretty brutal and sad death for one of the if not most skilled female fighters in the series. After pushing Obito to near death with the sea of paper bombs and forcing him to use Izanami which if he didn't use would've of killed him. After thinking she defeated him he came from behind and she was stabbed by Obito and was seriously hurt she put up one last effort against him but was countered and choked to death. What makes it a sad moment was that she fought for her two friends even after their death and for her beliefs in Naruto being the savior.

Kakashi going up against up Pain was a really great fight a battle between two powerful shinobi. But when kakashi came up short against Pain it was one of the biggest deaths in the series right behind Jiraiya's (Which will be coming up next , didn't forget it on this one
) but back on topic when Pain threw the nail at Kakashi who was trapped under rubble of the battlefield we all knew that there was no way the great shinobi Kakashi was getting out of this one. He was either going to take the nail to the eye or using Kamui to teleport the nail away but run out of chakra and die. With kakashi choosing to use Kamui as his chakra ran out we witnessed the death of one of the most beloved character in the Naruto Fan Base. I couldn't and many others too couldn't believe or accept the death of the "Copy Ninja" Kakashi Hatake the cool , relaxed and (Perverted ) shinobi we loved was gone making this a very emotional and sad moment at the time.
"The true measure of a shinobi is not how he lives but how he dies. It's not what they do in life, but what they did before dying that proves their worth. Thinking back of it, my story is one full of failures. Tsunade rejected me every time. I couldn't save my friend, I failed to protect my student… and my teacher. Compared with the Hokage who came before me, my accomplishments have all been petty and insignificant. I wanted to die like them…" "There, that ending… was a little better. The frog at the bottom of the well drifts off into the great ocean. Heh heh… yep… pretty damn honourable… pretty damn honourable… I guess it's time to put down my pen. Right… I need a title for the next book… let's see… Ah, got it… "The Tale of Naruto Uzumaki"… perfect."
If you didn't tear up at this scene then either you just don't like Jiraiya or you just have no heart. This scene in my opinion maybe only behind Minato and Kushina's death takes the cake for saddest moment in Naruto. Seeing the "Pervy Sage" fighting near death against the Six Paths was sad enough pulling out , just enough chakra to let out a final rasengan but yet it wasn't enough to save him. Seeing our beloved "Pervy Sage" with the six chakra rods in his back on the verge death has tears building up in my eyes. And when he was dumped into the ocean his final speeches looking back on his failures then realizing his success with teaching two of the most successful Shinobi's , Minato Namikaze and his son Naruto Uzumaki all the flashbacks just added even more overflowing emotion to this death scene and then the beautiful speech at the end just makes this either number 1 or 2 on the most saddest moments in the series. I'll just have this sum it up.
"Naruto your the , "Destined Child" I know it... The rest is up to you! Never give up that's the choice I had to make! I'll make this short and have this sum this up
