Saddest Death you've EVER seen?

Sakumo Hatake. Decided to abandon his mission so that his comrades would live, huge disrespect and dishonor came upon him even by those he saved. Fell into depression and was forced to kill himself.

hmm, You said games, though I doubt anyone has heard of the Xenosaga series.
Aoi Uzuki's death was really sad in that game (Xeno 3), because she died asleep on her hospital bed, by these monster human-like things stabbing her.
The depressing part about that death was that her daughter, a little girl, was under the bed, an unnoticed witness. After the things left, she tried putting the blood back into her mother, hoping her mother would be 'fixed' / ' alright'.
Sad. o__o
Also sad was Gaignun and Febronia's deaths, but I'd have to explain the story to elaborate.

Anyways, I guess the saddest of all might be Itachi's?
I feel embarrassed saying this, but both in the anime/manga, tears ran down my face as he did that last walk/plus during Madara's explanation.
After seeing it once in anime, I had to watch it again right after.

I teared up a bit when Zabuza started crying, lolz I had to control my tears coz my brothers were watching with me

When Zack died in crisis core I cried alot. Mostly because of how it shows zacks life flash before his eyes and how everyone in zacks memory slowly started dissapearing one by one

But, the most saddest death for me was Itachi's. Not when he died in front of Sasuke but when Madara explained Itachi's life to Sasuke. I cried so much I could've screamed (I would've but my family was at home)

It's kinda embarrassing though, I was 18 then

Its not a death but a scene in the anime Now and Then, Here and There . Anyone who watched it knows what im talking about. I felt sickened and ust hopeless, I couldnt believe that the anime creators went there. But im kinda glad they did, it made the show deeper but darker.

Thats true about DBZ lol. I still thought Goku's death(cell saga) was kinda sad though....(even though he came back a few years later).
And Vegeta's sacrificial death(buu saga).....(even though he came back a few days later)

1. FMA: When that little girl was mutated with her dog by her father, and scar killed her
2. FMA: When Maes Hughes died and his family became so sad
3. One Piece: the reaction of Luffy when Ace died

Well kinda obvious, at first, no one thought it was sad.But then when we found out the truth about what he really wanted and that Sasuke is going against his wishes, thats when Itachi's death became a sad one. His life basically sucked
