You know it's more sad in anime than manga ..

Hinata sacrificing herself to protect naruto against pain was pretty sad after she lost within 1shot and I thought she died you know that feeling

you pretty much sumed up my awnser....itachi

Itachi was victim of sad and sorrow

Itachi, Kisame, Nagato, or Gaara's loneliness/death

I disagree about nagato , he deserved death for his crime ..

I never cried about a Manga character, lol... Though Minato, Kushina and Jiraiya's deaths made me very sad, along with Itachi's.

I actually found Itachi's second death sadder than his 1st. The "I will always love you" (and I can relate since I have a younger brother too).

Asuma death was sad , he was bleeding through his mouth and coughing blood he died slow painful death ..
When shikamaru cried then I realized that asuma just passed away

Roger Waters, of Pink Floyd. The lyrics aren't that sad (it's about painkiller overdose BTW) but the music is just too beautiful for me to handle :T_T:

Itachi was already dead but it was his soul anyway.
