Sorry for being off topic but Vampire Knight is not tear jerker comparing to the anime mentioned above,the end sucks Imo(i'm talking about anime)....in general it was good but i haven't seen anything that could touch my heart there

Personally, AnoHana is the saddest anime I've seen also till now. Though, by popular anime fans opinions, Clannad & Clannad After Story are said to be really sad stuffs..
Steins;Gate also contained quite some deep emotional moments that delve into your psyche.

Darker Than Black, Code Geass, Gurren Lagann, Phantom: Requiem of Phantom & Death Note are also sad but in an other way. It doesn't strums your heart strings but still tell sad tales of what humanity became.
