how many of you would perfer a sad ending to the series?

It doesn't have to be the bad guys win or anything that deep, but sad as in Naruto dying or a really great sacrifice that was needed to be made to pull off a win.

I hope we do get something like that because if everyone can get out of this scotch free like things are in DBZ(aka everyone gets brought back to life in the end) I will be really ticked off. Wars and battles should be won with sacrficie that is how things are done in reality. I reallly really really would hate it, if madara gets defeated like obito did. all the heroes creating one super attack and flashily defeating the villain. that cliche has been used thousands if not tens of thousands of times within fiction.

Sacrifice is what really makes a show shine. For example, those of you who watched Code geass were amazed at the presumable death of Lelouch(i know the creator left it open for the watcher to decide on if he is alive or not, but you catch my drift) or when Kamina died in Guren lagann. Those two examples were what made those show shine and made them great.

I hope that madara can start dropping body bags, not of fodders, but actually of characters. If kakashi, Naruto, sasuke, Hinata, Bee and other pivotal characters would die off that would be awesome.

I personally really doubt Naruto will die, however that being said this is one of three of the shounen jump trilogy so there is no telling how this genre will end simply because it is a individual trope. the three series that defined generations. however I think it would make the anime skyrocket in epicness if he would die.

personally I just want Kishi to grow some balls and start killing off some characters.
