There are a lot of theories about Sabo being alive. Assuming that he is alive and for some reason could not make it to Marineford, wouldn't it make sense for him to participate in the tournament at the coliseum for the same reason as Luffy. Maybe he is in one of the blocks and is just hiding his face because he is high up in the RA.

Or maybe I'm just getting my hopes up.

It would make sense but I believe he will make his comeback when Dragon attack the WG and Luffy somehow gets involved in it

It is possible of course, but I honestly think you're getting your hopes up. I just can't see Sabo making a return at this point, or at least not during the Dressrosa Arc.

The databooks are put together based on knowledge from the show, not by Oda himself. When Oda was asked about Sabo being dead he said, "I'll leave it to the fans to decide whether he is dead or alive."

The only reason Sabo didn't appear at the "War of the Best" is because it would be a blow for the Revs. since Dragon believes he is not ready. Also, if he is alive, he is probably one of Dragon's top subordinates (Kuma/Iva level+). So he was probably not allowed to go since Dragon relies on him. Just like if Luffy were to have died there, Dragon would not have done anything.


OT: The chances of him being alive are the same as Monet being alive (HUGE).
