[Discussion] Sabo Will Die

Alot, I mean ALOT of people are saying Sabo will fight(and defeat/kill) Akainu EoS. I personally think Sabo won't make to EoS as he will be killed by either Akainu or Blackbeard before the final timeskip.

Timeskip? Yes. There WILL be another timeskip before EoS. Luffy isn't even Admiral level yet and he is suddenly gonna dramatically increase in strength in less than a year or so? Nonsence. Luffy only increased by one level after 2 years of training. So the big question is: "Whats gonna trigger another timeskip?" The same thing that caused carefree Luffy to wise up, see his weaknesses and train for 2 years to prepare for the New World...

The Death of a Brother with the Mera Mera no mi.

Ace's death made Luffy wise up and train, but he is still that same carefree idiot from 2 years ago. He is still overconfident and prefers brawn over brain. Luffy will make it half-way through the New World through alliances. Kaido and Big Mam will fall because of Luffy's alliances. For the other half of the New World, you need your own strength. Sabo's fate became clear when he ate the Mera in the first half of the New World. His death will cause Luffy to once again train for a few years to prepare himself for the hardships ahead.

Ace=the trigger for Luffy to train and grow stronger in the Grand Line, causing the first timeskip.
Sabo=the trigger for Luffy to train and grow stronger in the first half of the New World, causing the second and final timeskip.

There won't be another time skip. During the first half of the series, Luffy's strength increased dramatically, and so can happen again. It would feel repetitive if another time skip occurred for the very same reason as the last one.

LMAO this. Won't you think it'd be pretty lame that the both mera mera users lost to Akainu? We already know how strong he is, we don't need him killing Sabo just reinforce that. I think Dragon would die (not to Akainu) and Sabo will become the leader of the revolutionaries. I do agree we need another TS later on though but Sabo dying to Akainu idk.

I don't see a reason to brought back Sabo from the death, just to kill him again.


Luffy is already admiral level. Point of the training was to get Luffy and his crew to the level that Admiral (Kizaru) with some good back up (Pacifista, that fat guy) wouldn't be able to take them.

Sabo doesn't have to be killed by Akainu. It could be Blackbeard. Sabo is a plot character just like Ace and will be used to trigeer another timeskip.

Alabasta+Crocodile and Dressrosa+Doflamingo? Both involve a kingdom of lies. Alabasta was the first major arc Pre-ts. Dressrosa is the first major arc Post-ts. The villains of both arcs are Shichibukai and said "This is my country." Theres already a repitition. Even with the SH recruitments.
